Battle of Bloody Marsh July 1742 Sharp Practice
I like to present something a bit different than the other games happening on our Game Days. This War of Jenkin's Ear scenario seemed liked a good pick. This was loosely based on the scenario from Chris Stoesen's supplement for Sharp Practice. For the Game Day I made it a 4 person 15mm game with 2 Spanish and 2 Crown players. The battle is basically an ambush of the Spanish troops who were advancing on Ft Frederica on St Simon's Island on the coast of the Georgia colony. How often do you get to have Highlanders, Redcoats, Native Americans and a colorful variety of Spanish fighting around a marsh?

Holiday Sharp Practice game --2nd Seminole War
Another year gone so time for the Holiday game. This time I went for a completely different setting with the Second Seminole War set in the 1838ish Florida territory. It was a bit smaller than usual scenario with 4 players, 2 Seminoles, a militia group and a US Dragoon unit. I was playing the settler family. As with all Holiday games, I would conduct a quiz at the end of the turn (Water Break). The correct guesses get a Command chip to play in the upcoming phase. This year the questions were about Native American holiday myths and traditions and because of the setting we had several rounds of 'Floriduh Man' stumpers. (Hint: when in doubt assume the answer involves drunk and naked) I also had plenty of treats on hand including orange flavored chocolate--its Florida. Through the Mud and Blood cards
Hello,
Having read a post on the Lard forum about the files for the TtMaB cards I clicked a link to where they could supposedly be found but which instead brought up a blank message. Could you please send either a link to the files themselves or attach them to your reply? Regards, Andrew |

Re: LardEhs Day III in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada - Oct. 22/22
It was a fun day. I think 8 different TFL games.? 2x Sharp Practice, 2x what a Tanker, IABSM,? O Group(?) , CoC, and my Bag the Hun. My BtH game went?well despite being away from the system for over?a year! IJN would've had a decisive victory if _both_ torpedoes hadn't been duds! |

Typical table size(s) for IABSM 3?
Newbie questions to follow. First I couldn't find except in the "roll your own scenarios" is any table size mentioned. There it mentions a 5 foot x 6 foot footprint for a possible table. So what works for you? Infantry only and vehicles rich as I assume vehicles will require somewhat more space. Thank you.
