Re: TinyTrak4, bank switching
See attached. Really not that complicated to solder a few 1/8W axials and a TO92 to make an interface. I think I sketched out your board correctly -- L1 holds relay on (and is the signal you want to

Hi Rob, thanks for looking into this. The stuff with mosfets and the like is over my head. It looks like it is the model c according to the relay? on it. There are 6 wire connections on it labeled

Re: TinyTrak4, bank switching
I have driven TT bank pins with a (10K or so) pullup from bank input pin to TT vdd and an open-drain mosfet to pull it down (source is at gnd). I used BSN20 (sot23) but a decent thruhole part would be

Re: TinyTrak4, bank switching
The relay listed (SLA-12VDC-SL-C) as 3 variations which appear to be SPST Normally Open (N/O) for model -A, SPST Normally Closed (N/C) for model -B,?or SPDT (switch between N/C and N/O) for model -C.

Re: byonics preamp 1
Kim, The Byonics Preamplifier is for receivers only. Transmitting through it will smoke the preamp and is likely to kill your MTT4B's power amplifier? too. ( Which is to say, "No!" Its a bad idea!)

I think you are just not identifying the position report.? It appears your transmitting in the Mic-E format (or maybe APRS compressed).? Those formats are not 'human readable'.? You can use aprs.fi
