Just sitting down now from leaving at 9 this morning.

Went to see the?doctor (well....the PA) about the sciatica.
Luckily he said I have no nerve issues and no weakness
He wants xrays?(to rule out damage to the discs....he thinks I might have done something when I fell)
And a more specialized PT and go back in 6 weeks.
And we will go from there.....

I went and had the xrays since I had on leggings (jeans have metal)
Then I went grocery shopping and to Aldi's
Stopped at the nursery and got?a gorgeous tulip plant?for my sister-in-law (host gift for Easter)

Thankfully Shawn is home today so he could carry everything in.
?
I put everything away and now I am just going to do nothing.

I am 78 yrs of age and when I was growing up one of the rules for Officers was: ?wife and kids do NOT work. ? ?It could have hurt Daddy’s career back then. ? ?I don’t think it was a rule for the Enlisted fellas though. ? I don’t really know as I never knew anyone who’s mothers worked and had many friends who fathers were enlisted men as well as officers. ? ? ?It’s just like going to parties — you had to drink. ?A lot. Just sitting down now from leaving at 9 this morning.

Went to see the?doctor (well....the PA) about the sciatica.
Luckily he said I have no nerve issues and no weakness
He wants xrays?(to rule out damage to the discs....he thinks I might have done something when I fell)
And a more specialized PT and go back in 6 weeks.
And we will go from there.....
?
I went and had the xrays since I had on leggings (jeans have metal)
Then I went grocery shopping and to Aldi's
Stopped at the nursery and got?a gorgeous tulip plant?for my sister-in-law (host gift for Easter)
?
Thankfully Shawn is home today so he could carry everything in.
?
I put everything away and now I am just going to do nothing.
49° and partly sunny.? Nice to go out with just a light sweater  ? With the way the weather has been, I am afraid to put away the winter coats

Too early for me to hit the hay, Kelley. ? ?It’s almost 10 pm here but I won’t go to bed until at least 11 or so. ? ?Marc will go to bed shortly after 10 pm though. ? He comes in here to watch TV with me but always falls asleep. ?I call it his nap before bedtime as he’ll wake up in a bit and take the dogs out and then come in and go to bed and sleep all night long. ? How he does this I don’t know. ??
Glad you had a great time with family today. ? ?Did you eat a lot? ? ?We had a nice relaxing day here and I am so glad we did. ? It was perfect!

Easter?dinner was a bunch of good stuff and some stuff I won't eat, lol.

My father was a military officer and it was looked down on if you allowed your spouse or children to work before age 18 (for kids). ? Spouse was not EVER allowed to work. ?Mom was a housekeeper and my sister and I were only allowed to babysit but could not work outside the home. ? ? Wow she has it pretty cheap. Aileen and Emma pay $500 a month and need to buy all their own?food laundry stuff.... Everything !!! These are Amy's kids in her house.......lol?
Emma had moved in with her boyfriends parents but there house is very small so now they have moved to Amys place. They plan to move an hour away this summer. She will get a nursing job there and he has been hired already as a paramedic.

Wow! ? ?I wasn’t allowed to do anything relating to work — well, I could babysit but nothing else. ? The money I earned was mine. ? ?My dad supported me and Mom and Dad helped me out a lot thankfully. ? ?When they left and went back to Chanute AFB, Rantoul, IL for Dad’s 4th tour there, I remained here in Texas. ?I did not want to live with them and so chose to remain here. ?Glad I did. ? ? So glad it’s a lovely day there in Ohio, Kelley. ? ? ?
We are having rain showers (or did have them at least). ? ?Lots of thunder but didn’t see any lightning. ? ? It’s cloudy out and there is no wind today (well, I said that and then saw a wee bit of a breeze move a few leaves on a tree but it it still out for the most part). ? ? It’s a pleasant 64? with the high going to 82? and the low going down to 64? this evening. ? Everything is wet and we have been needing rain so I am one happy camper. ? I am hoping we will get a bit more rain.
Maybe, in time, your feelings towards River will change. ? ?Hopefully so. ? In the meantime, the less contact you have with him, the better. ? ? Sounds like he is starting to grow up and not be so difficult to deal with. ? I hope I’m right.
I don’t see you as being lazy. ? ?Sounds like you are being very productive today. ? I don’t have enough laundry to do as yet so am waiting for more that is needing to be washed. ?
