[Abraham-Hicks] Re: More on Communities

Marcia Singer

>Besides, it was us, who before becoming physical, set into place the
dominant beliefs that we all now agree on - like 'the Sun shines',
'Earth stays in orbit', 'tomatoes bring forth tomatoes', etc. We
designed the whole thing. It's the stable platform from which we can
serenely go forth and do further creating, knowing that there is a basis
>of stability.

Being a crow would not be considered a stable platform :) Yes, it is an
alternative to flying directly, being a fish is an alternative to
altering something in ourselves under water.

This isn't about changing the earth's orbit or keeping the sun from shining.

And anyway, scientists (we're talking biologists and not theoretical
physicists here) are now theorizing that....

there are no rules of nature, but rather
deeply ingrained habits. Things are the way they are because
there is a memory of their own past.

He (Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, Royal Society biologist) proposes that this
memory is carried by a non-material medium
called a "morphogenetic field". Thus rabbits are "rabbit-shaped"
because they tune into the morphogenetic field and through a
process of "morphic resonance" produce offspring that are also
rabbits! The same is true of the shapes of molecules, the
propagation of ideas, and the formation of ice crystals. Also,
once a habit is broken, it becomes easier for others to do the
same through this same morphic resonance. This is why, after
Roger Bannister first broke the 4-minute mile, many hundreds of
other athletes did the same within a year. A new "habit" was
established.<

So then, the "rules of nature" are simply a belief system, which is simply
the same thoughts thought over and over again.....like Abe says.....and CAN
BE CHANGED like any other habit.

As another dead guy essence named Elias says.....There are no absolutes....

I like Rupert, but he is not "mainstream" (FWIW).

I am not arguing for absolutes "Local regulations" serve a fine purpose.
As Abe says, they provide a predictable context in which to create.

I liken them to agreeing on parameters prior to a game -- whether
volleyball, chess, poker or LOE (life on earth).

An Abe analogy is that it is reassuring that gravity is not a whimsical
thing and you can depend on the likelihood of your monster bus staying
on the ground as it rounds the next turn.

Your serve, move, deal, creation . . .

Hi Rick,

I'm not arguing that there are NOT "local regulations"....just that
individuals are not bound by them if they CHOOSE not to be. Granted, i do
not think it is a very easy thing to REALLY choose not to align with such
things as gravity, etc., but all i'm saying is that it CAN be done on an
individual basis if a person so chooses and creates same. Deliberately
choosing to step outside of the agreed-upon parameters and creating such is
different than something like gravity coming and going without warning.....

Paradigms change all the time (i worked for awhile at Indiana University in
the Department of the History and Philosophy of Science and typed many a
manuscript on this very subject)....first in the minds of radicals like
Rupert Sheldrake, and then slowly but surely things gain momentum and a
shift occurs. Those on the leading edge are usually the first to be
branded as "out there" (pun intended), but that doesn't make them
wrong.....at least today they are not burned at the stake or run out of
town on a rail.

Eventually that which is "outside" of accepted thought becomes just another
chapter in the sixth grade science books.

The exception proves the rule....and eventually BECOMES the rule....

Yeah. I remember reading that it takes about two generations for new
info to be accepted. I was surprised to hear that Heisenberg (sp?)
formulated his Uncertainty Principle in the 1920s! And it's just
recently becoming "common knowledge."

As for gravity, for now (!), I'll just leave it at, "In your dreams!"
(and in mine, too).

Really? Just now? I have been quoting that principle for a very long
time. No wonder people have always looked at me like i was one sandwich
short of a picnic....hahahaha

Love it!!
