The other day, after I posted how I am a passionate bodhisattva here to
wake up myself and the world, Carol James asked me (respectfully indeed)
how one might do that gig without being a compulsive rescuer or neurotic
worldsaver type.

An excellent question.

I offered her a reply, and posted it here too. But today I remembered a
strong post (and thank you Connee for YOUR strong post....I like it like
THAT) which I sent to another list at the tail end of a little skirmish
started by some passionate bodhisattvas who happened to be militant
vegetarians.

I made a gentle, tho deliberate, remark about bible thumpin...which of
course goosed em real good. (grin) And of course, what with me being a
bible thumpin man for not a few years, and a preacher to boot, I know
whereof I squeak.

And then, while they were unrufflin their thumped tailfeathers, I slipped
in this wee bit of dharma...personal lessons learned along the way on this
particular question Carol so kindly pointed to.

Here it be...for what it's worth. Mebbe it'll be grist for your mill, or
another photo for your personal Scrapbook of Desire, you dolphin you.

And if it's too damn cryptic, I'll happily reply to all pem's.

First of all, lemme start by saying that I don't see any "us vs them" in
the recently concluded fun and frolic re animals, vegetables and (I believe
someone even mentioned) minerals. And just to recap my own involvement,
where I jumped into the tub was in my admittedly rascally post (and yeah, I
am rascally at times) re "bible thumping"a deliberate thrust into a
meta-discussiona perspective some others appropriated in their own ways,
in their own terms, as well.

And (I think it's good to say this) bible thumping by passionate
bodhisattvaspeople who care deeply about changing the mass reality for the
betteris not something THEY do. It's something WE (as a race) do. It's
something I door have donemany many times. I think such behavior is no
more limited to fundamentalists than it is to sethians, or urantians, or
ken wilber fans, or buddhists, capitalists or communists. I think it's a
meta-behavior of the race transcending the particularities of the issue at
hand.

And I think that regardless of the forum, the agenda, the particular
beliefs or POV's, the arc of the discussions become entirely, and (for me,
at this point in my life, depressinglyor sometimes merely annoyingly, or
worst of all maybe...boringly) orthogonal. People too often end up talking
AT each other, rather than WITH each other or even TO each other.
Paranoid perceptions manifest (s/he wants to nail me), bifurcations abound
(us vs them; we're right, they're wrong), downsizing and disparagement
diminishes the entire shebangwhether those thoughts and feelings are
couched in YCYOR (I create you as a pimple on my ass) or conventional
(you suck, you annoying fuckhead you) terms.

And while this IS a new-agey tub after all, and liberalism is the order of
the day, and YCYOR a foundational gospel truth, and we are now at the
unravelling/joking/moving on stage of the Great Vegetarian Debatewhile all
this may be true, I can assert with a reasonably high probability of being
perceptually accurate that in the recent goings on people got nasty pissed
at one another, and some perhaps are pissed still. I've seen it in the
posts here...and also in some barely oblique comments in the reality next
door.

Someone recently mentioned that understanding the detailed mechanics of
creation is her particular personal interest tho not necessarily that of
others, even perhaps others here. I have one or two personal (and not
necessarily globally shared) interests, too. One is finding better ways,
or at least other ways, perhaps more effective ways, for passionate
bodhisattvas to share their (our) vision with the world.

And just as my own personal journey on the pathless path began with a very
unpleasant push experience of a hard stick rather than the pleasant pull
promise of a sweet carrotso my impulse here originates (but does not end)
with my perception that balkanization is not simply something happening in
the Balkans, but in the global mind as well, whether viewed on the talking
head bashing of cable tv, in the shrill halls of academia, behind police
barricades in front of abortion clinics, or in what often descends into
flame-o-ramas on the net in forums such as these.

So here are two ideas (surely not the only two) for the potential to create
some alternate realities for those of us who might self-identify as
passionate bodhisattvasone taken from my observation of other dolphins who
(imo) are masters at this sort of work/play, and the other from my own
personal take as well as my personally and deliberately chosen field of
play (at this particular time):

Alternate reality 1: A Passionate Bodhisattva with a Hot Button Issue

Bodhisattvas with hot button issues are trying to change the world "bottom
up", to use a systems perspective. Instead of focusing on the entire
spectrum of human belief and manifestation, they are focusing on some
particular subset which they feel an impulse to address right now. In that
category I would surely put someone like our resident vegetarian
spokespeople, with their passionate intensity about alleviating the
suffering of animals.

Two modern examples of master players of the "bottom up" game come quickly
to mind: Ghandi, whose hot button issue was the self determination of his
country in the face of British colonialism, and Martin Luther King, who
took Ghandi as his primary model in his struggle for the civil rights of
American blacks. What both of these dolphins did that I find so
instructive, so useful, and so laudatory, is that they succeeded in putting
their vision of what SHOULD BE and COULD BE on the table over and over
without downsizing their opponents in one way or another.

My view (only mine) is that they were able to do this because they had
succeeded, by some means or other, in purging themselves of sufficient
shadow material so that when they presented their vision and their
challenge they could finesse the usual tendency for the mass reality to
crack and splinter into these negativity drenched bifurcations which are so
very common.

Just to dip into American history for a bit for contrast's sake, that's
exactly what DIDN'T happen post Civil War during the period called the
Reconstruction. The unexamined, unpurged shadow material of the northern
victors got such play that the sense of bifurcation continued to be a
dominant belief construct in the southern vanquished for well over a
centurythus (imo) slowing down the process of integration and creating
backlash contra creations such as the KKK, Jim Crow, etc. Lincoln (another
master dolphin in the same mold) took a bullet to the head, and thus his
vision for forgiveness, healing, bridge building was lost in the "we're
gonna get 'em" zeal of the radical reconstructionists.

As a society, we are still paying the price of that error today. (Not
necessarily a YCYOR perspective, but there it is anyway).

Alternate Reality #2: A Passionate Bodhisattva With An Primary Interest In
Global Consciousness Change

This is the one that rings my personal chimes. It is a "top down"
approach, rather than a "bottom up" one

I get this perspective from the understanding I have evolved to over
interaction with a number of my fave metaphysical sources...probably the
Tao Te Ching more than any other.

In a nutshell, the idea is this:

The natural state of the individual and the mass society is one of
effortless flowing with ATI, called here the Tao. In such a state of flow,
good stuff...right action...arises automatically. What we "learn", on the
other hand, all too often is a myriad of consciousness contraction stuff,
unconscious discrimination stuff, unconscious belief stuff, deliberately
implanted stuff on ethics, rightness, wrongness, a case hardened sense of
who we are and who we're notall things which restrict the simple flow of
Tao like hair restricts the flow of water in your bathtub drain.

Thus, the great work of deconstruction: getting the hairball out of the
drain (or the cat gullet, as the case may be).

This process of deconstruction leaves us freer and freer to simply manifest
our deepest impulses, with less and less contra-creating crap,
individuallyand corporately too.

Soa passionate bodhisattva operating from THAT modelthe top down one
which is concerned not with a subset of the spectrum of human beliefs and
actions, but the entire rainbowseeks by word, thought, interaction to
deconstruct, both in self and others, the entire contracted business...and
then the Tao flows wild and free, and ain't it a pretty thang, tho!

Below is the model for alternate reality #2 in Lao Tzu pithy terms. I may
have posted these before, but they're so on target in this context that
I'll take the chance and share em againno thumpin' thopromise. :o)

Outrageous.

2. What I have learned to do, is to combine Unlimited/Outrageous thinking
with Love Energy.

3. It is when You can STAND with your feet firmly on the ground and point
Love Energy
towards: it, things, people, circumstances that you change your world
and THE world.

4. It is the force that you send out, that then brings back to you all that
you desire for your life.

5. How do you get to that place where you can actually understand and use
that Love Energy
as a real tool.....?

6. First, you enjoy who YOU Are.....!

7. And the rest is down hill from there !

8. And for new folks...how do you begin ....? ABE ABE ABE ABE ABE !!!

9. And if you want to apply human logic to any of this, youd better back
up, and begin
again.

Hi, friends,

I just wrote one of the strongest statements I have ever made of
my belief in the current expansion of consciousness... and I want
to share my passion and joyous vision with you all.

I am saying, feeling passionately, gloriously and joyously, that
there is no longer any such thing as a "very predictable path"
when it applies to people who understand the Laws of the
Deliberate Creation. It is *not* possible now to tell someone
else what they can or cannot do, regardless of our personal
experience. There are some very extraordinary people living in
our world, who know right down to their soul that they are beings
of light. I am seeing miracles happening all around me every
day. Maybe all the statistics there are say that NO ONE has ever
transcended an alcoholic marriage situation and been able to
influence bringing the light through clearly enough in their
partner to create a happy marriage. I bet even that is not true,
the ones who do just don't make it into the statistics.

But more to the point, I don't care! Some one will be the first,
even if it has never happened ever before. Abe says statistics
are only evidence of the ways other people have flowed energy.
We are learning a whole new way to do life, and the old
predictable paths do not nessarily apply.

Of course, we get to choose to take on easy paths or hard ones.
But if someone has the courage and the love to choose a hard one,
who am I to say it cannot be done? I choose to add my energy to
any expansive vision of love I witness, with no expectation as to
the outcome. Because I don't care who creates the breakthrough.
I just know that everyone who sees the possibility adds to the
likelihood of the evolution of human consciousness into greater
joy.

And Abe says it is as easy to create a castle as a button. To
Abe there is no degree of hardness or easiness, just alignment
with the energy or not.

Our job as "healers" or "teachers" as I see it, is to have the
capacity to imagine anew. To be able in our thought to transcend
the old thinking, the old patterns, the old energy. To learn to
see health where there is illness, to see wholeness where there
is addiction, to see prosperity where there is poverty, to see
love where there is hate. It is the path of the Christ, the
Buddha.

This is an exciting area of growth for me. I know my job as a
"healer" is to hold a space, to create an opening into the field
of unlimited possibility, where healing can naturally occur from
within the person and the situation. Focusing on statistics, or
even my own experience of leaving an abusive marriage, does not
lend itself for me to have a "beginner's mind" on possibility. I
must focus on the infinite potential of God to create Itself anew
in any moment, within anyone, anywhere.

Who knows what we here on this list could do collectively, if we
could blow the limits off our thinking and allow love to flow
through us totally without conditions! I believe truly
unconditional love can and will transform the world in the next
10 years, revealing the true beauty that is already here, masked
only by the fears of our limiting beliefs. I believe we are
right on the edge of the greatest revolution in human
consciousness the world has seen in recorded history.

Thanks for listening to my excitement and joy. And apologies to
those on LOL who have seen this twice.

lurker, so I was inspired this morning to simply say hello, again.

We all come back here sooner or later...This list has given me so many
gifts, of which I
first contribute to Abraham-Hicks, and secondly David Gordon for
maintaining this playground of love...

As you also know one of my pet peeves here as always been the basics of the
AH teachings,
I screamed them, I banged pots and pans....and secretly wept for many of
you that just could not
yet get it.

Some of the recent posts here are quite wonderful in their display of
wisdom and Love...and since
I know what this list is about, and since I re-read Davids purpose of this
list before re-signing, to make sure that I could fit somewhere......I
simply want to say...to all eyes here, who do not feel
the wisdom and love in their lives...to the ones that do not yet
understand, why that is a key
ingredient to creating your hearts desires....and making your heart
sing....To all of you....
teach yourself the basics of what Abe Teaches.

I do not know if that is covered here much , but I do know that Connee has
many of the processes
on her website.....so if you desire to soar....use them. All of the Abe
Processes are automatic to me, I dont have to think about them at
all.....they just happen to me if I ever need them...


As to what has happened to me since my last day here this spring?

My life and heart drips, absolutely drips, in Love.


And with that I will say good day......and look forward to visiting with
old friends and making new ones.

We had quite a discussion about fusterclucks a couple weeks ago--a
fustercluck being a little belief/feeling/brain knot that keeps us from
manifesting our highest good. I now see the highest solution, and that
solution is spirit. When we attune to our Inner Being (essence, spirit, God
nature), we see that we are not our mind, that the purpose of the mind is to
balance our checkbooks--not to run our lives.

Spirit is the wisdom and the love and the power. When we identify with
spirit instead of our mind, it observes, it sees the mind's thought and
let's them fly by. A fustercluck can no more interfere with our power to
create than the moon can steal light from the sun. Spirit is the creating
power, and it simply waits for us to step aside--that is to quiet our mind
and to allow the Stream of Wellbeing to express fully in our experience.

From the perspective of spirit, a fustercluck is no more than seeing a
chicken fly by. "I don't really want to heal." Didya see that one? "I
wouldn't know who my friends are if I had a million dollars." Hey didya see
that bird fly by?

I am Spirit, and I am infinitely more than circumstances.

The whole Universe is conscious. Everything is a coincidence. Everything
thing we see and experience is an answer to our prayers--whether our prayers
be gossip or communion with Spirit. We always receive what we ask for--and
we ask more with our feelings than with our words. Mastery is possible now.
Mastery is an ideal life with no resistance. Life without contrast is not
possible since contrast is simply the circumstances that give birth to a new
desire. Still, mastery is possible now. We just didn't believe it before
so it couldn't possibly have been true for us. We blocked out the
possibility, and so we received the answer to our prayers--no mastery.
Mastery is possible now. Mastery is attuning to the frequency of our
spirits, and flowing the vibration through us like music. When we flow
spirit instead of listening to our minds, we heal, we prosper, we attract
only our highest good. The spirit is not our body, and the spirit is not
our mind. Spirit uses our body/mind to experience the beauty of grace in
the physical realm. We are absolutely bathed in grace at all times. It is
like the picture of lovers frolicking beneath exquisite falls in Hawaii.
Grace. Amazing grace. This is our truth. This is what we are discovering.
Mastery is ours now. Mastery and spirit are one and the same. No more
mystery. No more wondering whether and how. The time is now. We have
always had this ability. It is easy. It is so easy that we missed it
before. I attune to my spirit and I know the truth. If I am thinking
limited thoughts or feeling anything less than bathed in grace--that's my
mind. When I am thinking beautiful thoughts and feeling glorious
feelings--when I absolutely know that I am the miracle--that's my spirit and
that's the truth.

YOu were speaking Loud and True to me, since I think we've found the
property today and you're right, I think I'm shedding that cocoon and
missing the cosiness of it. I mean I know that I can do what I'm doing,
although this past week has presented me with every aspect of it that I like
the least. :D And being big time CEO person is an unknown in a Big way.
BUt then again 2 years ago I never knew I could do this either, hadn't even
thought of it yet and this worked out well. The property is 200 acres next
to Mauvern Park, an Internationally known equestrian center and home of the
Old Dominion Dog show, second only in size to Westminister and the largest
Outdoor Dog Show in the US and where I go every year to stock up on cheap
raw hides and dog toys. :D The people who own it want to sell the land for
a housing development but the county and city and neighborhood want to keep
it a green area, agricultural and park land, Mauvern wants to keep it as
green land too, so basically I would be the perfect neighbor, if they'll
sell it to us.

And you're right, making dreams come true is terrifying in a way. And no I
wouldn't be into sitting on a corpse and meditating, but Thanks for the
offer. :D And no Cordy's not a match to dying anytime soon. Animals are
our mirrors, I've known that for years, and he is certainly mine and he's
just full of himself. :D

Thanks for the love, it was just a small panic attack, I'm having them a bit
more often these days as the manifestation gets closer and closer.

I kept thinking about your post today. What I'm saying is just going to
come out, and it may have some application or it may not. I may be just
talking to myself. So have no qualms about jettisoning what isn't for you.
Now...here goes.

There is a psychic here who says pets always reflect the concerns of
their owners. She doesn't even deal directly with the pets, just with the
owners. Sick pet? Owner's problem. So your fear of Cordy dying makes me
think...of you, fearing dying...and that I have read that fear of death is
*the* big block to fully living life.

I think the 6th seal opening is bringing up the core "stuff", and ain't
it grand.
LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!! Hey...your deepest resistence...right on the table...not
to mention on the computer screen...way to go, Juls!

I have actually been quite fortunate to have two people in my life die
this past year, because death is now more of "known" and less of a "big
scary..." In both cases I had a sense of connection after the death, a
strong knowing that all was well. So I have a bit less resistence. I don't
know of any ways to deal directly with fear of death other than the way I
have had too...by experience. Though I'm sure one could come up with some
ala Abe. (Well...there's a Buddist practice where you sit on a corpse and
meditate...but I just have a feeling you may not go for that...<ggggg>)

The other death is death of a part of oneself, or a certain sense of
self-identity, which will certainly happen if you go from Juls the
dog-sitter to Juls the really really big time executive. (Hey...I imagine
even if a person were moving from a hovel to a palace, they'd feel a little
nostalgia for the hovel...) I wonder if it would help to think about what
would/will be "lost" when your life changes so much, and work with that?
Maybe some things could be said good-bye to, and some things you could find
a way to keep.
