Re: [Abraham-Hicks] re: freedom and joy and making manifestations last

Hello Ilana

Welcome back from Italy. How good that you are creating all this wonderful
travel for yourself!

I appreciate your insight on this post and I am moving to a much more
preferred place as a result of these experiences. I really do appreciate
the experiences as I have learned things that will serve me very well as a
result of them I think the thoughts we are kicking around are "on the
leading edge" for me and so I'll add mine of the recent week to yours.

I've gotten several excellent replies to that post (Vilik, Paradise,Kim
Olson, Eric, JEEWHIZ, Jane Maine and Doretta) and I greatly appreciate them.
All contribute excellent ideas and I've put them in a folder where they are
easily accessible.

My thinking this week seems to spin off a helpful point made by Vilik, July
4th. The gist (as I got it) is that when we first learn to ride a bike, for
example, we often get so excited about this new thing (that doesn't match
our belief about ourself yet) that, while yelling "I DID IT; I DID IT; I DID
IT" we crash (into a tree, imagine that! <<<ggg>>>). It may partly be not
yet thinking of ourselves as "One who rides bike." (Otherwise why would we
be SO amazed?) This really resonated with me and also fit with several
other replies I received (Vilik's was simply the first and I "imprinted" on
it! More <<<ggg's>>>!)

In my effort to understand and practice Abraham appreciation, I had been
revving myself up until it seemed almost like a miracle when I got these
things. (Even though Abe says that when it seems "that big" it's less
likely.) So I did a switch to "I am a person who......" and began applying
it to many areas of my life, as they arise.

I remember this from the Connee exercises when I did them last year and
again this year, but this time, the concept "took". I clearly feel my self
image changing. When I've started to feel upset this week, I've said
something like, "Wait a minute, I'm a person who.....(fill in the blank with
whatever pattern)." I feel an immediate calming and a sense of relief and
optimism coming through in place of what would have been more fear/distrust/
whatever.

Isn't all this exciting? It really does feel like leading edge. And the
beauty is that it's leading edge when each of us discovers it for ourselves
even if others discovered it a year ago or a century ago or next week.

Dear Freedom & Joy,

Sorry that it took me so long to respond to your request. I was
in Italy again for the week... :)

The sense of a manifestation being "too good to last" is a
question I have finally figured out this morning in my own life.

The question is not if the manifestation is going to last, but if
my vibration is going to continue to be a match to it - and that
is totally up to me. It is possible that I may temporarily lose
my vibrational place and therefore attract evidence that the
desired manifestation is slipping away as well. But when that is
the case all I have to do is get back into the mindset that
brought it to me in the first place.

I will respond to the rest of your post ASAP.

Love,

Ilana-Ora
