I'm wanting to remember exactly but am not so I will say that I think it has something to do with "neutron pairs". Something about the spin being one way or the other and that a pair (see, this is what I can't remember) either must both spin the same way or each must spin the opposite way. Anyhow, whichever it is, it is said that when you separate them, even to move them on opposite sides of the earth, if you then change the rotation of one, the other changes to the correct rotation. So there is the connectedness regardless of the distance. The theoretical physicists believe that the same would hold true if the two were on earth and Jupiter or earth and Andromeda or one place and anyplace else. So interesting to me...
