Hi all,

I just got the HDD option installed and working in my TDS784C and am now looking for any of the applications that were available.

Does anyone have any of the apps that they can send through to me?

TDSPWR1 - Power Analysis
TDSJIT1V2 - Jitter Analysis Measurements
TDSCEM1 - Communications Eye-Diagram Measurements
TDSCPM1 - Communications Pulse Measurements
TDSDMM1 - Disk Drive Measurement
TDSPRT1 - Enhanced Printing

Hey Jared,

The jitter analysis application looks to be linked on the TDS784 TekWiki
page: . I haven't tried it yet, I'd be
curious to know whether it works for you. I've never found any of the other
applications, but I'd be curious to see those also :).

Unfortunately, that's just the user manual (I was the one who added most of the recent info on that page. So, so far, I haven't been able to find any apps at all.
I tried running an undelete on the HDD option I acquired too, but the data was too far gone to extract anything, so that was a dead-end too.

I guess I confused this with the TTiP link
. Doesn't look like this goes
beyond the -A scopes, if the readme files are to be trusted.
My TDS784D has the HDD option, but it never occurred to me to look at the
HD. Maybe I should pop it out one of these days and see what might be
lurking there.

Hi,

I'm still looking for the Power Analysis software, TDSPWR1, or any others that anyone might have.
I almost got my hands on a good set of software with a HD option, but the ebay seller didn't seem to like the price the auction was heading for and pulled the listing at the last minute and was so far completely uncooperative in just selling a CD of the software itself... :(

I have some of the others I can share though if anyone happens to have the TDSPWR1 software?
(I have TDSCEM1, TDSEYE1, TDSJIT1, and TDSPRT1)

Is there any reason you haven't uploaded what you do have here or at the wiki? If these are hard to find, you should be sharing them widely and getting them out there so that they don't disappear.

looks by far the most useful.

Have you tried H?k?n for the one you're missing? (Hope I got those accents correct).

The seller replied and is asking US$125 plus postage for a CD of all the software he has.

Does "demo" signify that these aren't full versions?

I gifted myself with a refurbished TDS784D last year from an excellent Tek scope man in Richardson, Texas. I have not had to reload the app's on the unit, so I can't vouch for their integrity or completeness. Also, I just shared these files with TekWiki, as asking a bunch of money for these app's is just wrong.
