Service Manual for a 5223 w/ Opt. 10

I acquired a 5223 in order to test some plug-ins (5A48s and 5B25Ns), and I guess I didn't do enough research before I bought, because I wound up with a 5223 Opt 10 (GPIB) and TekWiki says that there are different manuals for the Opt. 10 scope than for the non-Opt. 10 scope. The manuals that I see on both TekWiki and on eBay indicate that they are for non-Opt. 10 scopes.

Does anyone have a service manual for the 5223 Opt. 10 that they would be willing to part with?

I have it and I have started to scan it. It is quite a thick one with a lot of fold out pages so it'll take a day or two.
I'll let you know when it's done.

Thank you H?kan. The non-option 10 manual is also quite thick, and I fully expect that the option 10 version adds a substantial amount of additional material.

I¡¯m a bit intimidated by this scope. The diagnostic flow chart looks nothing like what I have come to expect based on analog scopes of the 70s and 80s. It seems to jump right into the digital section, rather than spending any time verifying power rails and such. My scope is not showing any traces, and that sounded like a simple diagnostic process (based on my previous experience with 400- and 7000-series scopes), but I¡¯m starting to have a doubt.

H?kan,

Having _just_ referenced a much smaller bit of Tek doc that you transcribed a while ago, I'll drop in here to say it's marvelous that you have such a deep library combined with willingness to put effort into sharing parts of it that wouldn't otherwise be readily available. Thanks.

Scan is done now and could be found here www.hakanh.com/dl/temp/5223_opt10_Instruction.pdf
until it shows up on TekWiki. 456 pages and 60M.

H?kan,

Thank you very much. The manual has already been very helpful as it appears that the instrument is stuck in GPIB test mode, and this is not mentioned in the non-option 10 manual.
