DigiKey BOM for TM500 Tester

 

Someone here (I believe) was preparing a BOM for the Jared Cabot TM500 tester but with DigiKey stock numbers. Has that been completed?

And, one capacitor P/N was incorrect; what was that?

Note that in the P/L the part numbers for S1 and S2 are interchanged.

I just made a Digikey cart to simplify ordering parts. (Part numbers etc should all be correct now).
I substituted some of the electrolytic caps, but they aren't critical so there'll be no issues at all.
Feel free to substitute parts that you may already have in your own stock of parts, nothing is overly critical besides the binding posts, range switch, and headers, all for their particular dimensions so they align with my design. Also the BNC will need to be a longer thread type too. I chose high current gold plated headers to ensure a good connection and longevity, they are critical to the PCB's lining up correctly with each other!
 

Can the Digikey BOM be edited (items deleted) without causing problems for the next user? I only need about 1/3 of the parts, and don't want to introduce errors.

I believe you can edit your cart as you like.
Once you follow the link, it loads the parts as a cart in your Digikey login, and it then becomes independant of the original link.

The link is a set cart that won't change, and even if I make a change to the original cart, I'll end up with a new link for the new list.
 

Finally got my order in after going through my part stores to
pare down the list. After all that I still ended up around
a hundred bucks. So much for never spending more than
$25 on a plugin. Still, if it save me from frying one
expensive plugin, it'll be worth it. Fun to build something
anyway.

In case you haven't ordered yet, be aware the price of the
gold headers has gone up a bit.

I just submitted my order- I found the remains of a Pulse Instruments plugin I had forgotten about?, and thought I had one of the grayhill switches, but it turned out to be 1x6 instead of 2x6.??
The cart was a big help!
