I?think I was looking for that same pot a year or two ago?(if it had 10k in both halves) and none were to be found at Veronia Northern or elsewhere.
An eBay seller had something close enough, but I forget the exact details.

Thanks Tom,
It is a 10k pot with a switch at the rear.
Seems to be a scarce item, No luck so far.
But I live in hope. Must be some out there somewhere.
The part number is 311-1192-00.
Thanks again

Oh yeah, last batch of those were "found" after I asked nicely the guy at Vernonia.

There are equivalents, in plastic through.

These are?scarce?because they have been used in so many?devices, Tek465, Tek475, I think that even Tek485, and a whole bunch of other tek modules.

I have a resource that says it crosses to
1-28(R4/S4) 311-1192-00 Res.,Var,Nonwir : 10K Ohm, 20%, 1W w/ Switch (Centralab BA-232-001) Slope/Level ...

This switch is used in 7B53 and other 7000 series time bases. So is not rare I assume.

It appears to make some sense. However, I cannot verify it as I do not have access to any of the scopes in question. Therefore I do not know the form factor.

I can verify that the slope switch on a 7B53 (and others) is a 10K pot with an inner shaft on that is indeed a switch. The outer shaft (pot portion) around 1/8 to 1/4 inch the inner shaft (switch part) 1/8 or less.

Anyway trying to be helpful. Hopefully it is.
Rob

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your input.
The information on the pot/switch is :
S.C. Co. Type 10K 19-7330???? 311-1192-00
The switch is marked ;??? S.C. Type? PE? B-16????? 1 Amp 125 Volt AC
UND LAB Inc Insp.
It is interesting that the pot has the Tektronix part number stamped on it.
Your information certainly widened the field so maybe I can get hold of a junker plug in.
Your description of the construction is spot on. 1/8 inch? outer shaft? the inner shaft appears to be a bit bigger than 1/16 inch, body diameter is .640 in?.
I will? start to search the Net.
Thanks again Rob.
Best wishes

If I am not mistaken I have a junked/part-er 7000 series Time Base. Respond off list with address and if I do I¡¯ll send it gratis as long as you¡¯re willing to report success or failure with it for the scope in question.

That way we can benefit the entire community.

I hope this finds you well
