About all you can do with a sweep generator is use MAX HOLD, and be patient while the trace points all fill in. -- john, KE5FX

They are not really compatible, since there's no way to synchronize the Wavetek's sweep to the spectrum analyzer's. The Wavetek is intended to be used with a broadband detector such as an HP 8471
