Re: Firmware 3.1 for 11300
I will be honored with a copy. During the 1130x development, I was told that I had psychic debugging skill. It seems to work over a great distance too!

Re: Firmware 3.1 for 11300
Thanks! Without your intuition about the intensity In would not succeed. Interesting: I thought that a strange behavior in the brightness control was a fault of my gear. I order the new EPROMs and

Re: Firmware 3.1 for 11300
That is great news! I am happy that you were able to restore EA function and save another scope. If you are able to update the firmware to 3.1, you will find significant improvements. Version 2.7

Re: R7613 to regular 7613 conversion?
I brought back from the farm my 7603 to see the physical items and layout involved, and also found I have a bunch of saved parts from junking a couple 7603s long ago. The R7613 transplant looks like

Re: FOUND: broken Tektronix WM490f (to 140GHz) and/or WM490d (to 170GHz) mixer(s)
It took 2 versions as I am learning CNC/CAD. jlcpcb. Way way cheaper then north american shops of course. There are issues in my design but - good enough for now.

Re: Firmware 3.1 for 11300
Gianni, A change in firmware from 2.7 to 3.1 is not going to change the EA performance. As I suggested in my response to your initial request for help, the graticule detection should be examined. It

Re: Help with 465M blowing mains fuse
You can download the correct manual from the link I posted before. I have a 465M and I love it although I use it very rarely.

Re: 5116 'scope HV oscillator won't oscillate.
This can be caused by C251 going low in capacitance and/or high in ESR. Dave

Re: Help with 465M blowing mains fuse
Nicholas, The series pass transistors are before the jumpers. They are the ones inside the black box on the schematic of the power supply. The 47/50mfd decoupling condensers for the B+ supplies

Re: Firmware 3.1 for 11300
Thanks for answering. My scope is a 11302 and current EPROM version is 2.7, 160-447x-06 Updating the software is just a desperate attempt to see if something changes in my problem where the Enhanced

Re: Used Tek 7934 without plug-ins for sale
Out of all storage scopes I had, none had such uneven glow. This looks like a distorted mesh following the flood guns. Storage tubes have "targets" in front of the screen, does anybody know what

Re: Firmware 3.1 for 11300
11301 and 11302 use different F/W but I assume it is 11302 you want. Also 3.1 is not a direct replacement for all previous versions so what is your current version ? /H?kan

Re: Used Tek 7934 without plug-ins for sale
The 7934 is fairly rare. It was the fastest storage 'scope that Tektronix offered. The 7934 has a bandwidth of 500 MHz. The more common 7834 has a bandwidth of 400 MHz. Mine arrived with a note

Used Tek 7934 without plug-ins for sale
Hi guys, there is a used 7934 on eBay without plug-ins. The photo shows the screen that is unevenly lit and I wonder if it is normal behavior. I already have some dead scopes and I am not thrilled to

Thanks for that Ananda. I only had the service manual that omitted the schematic. I got your email, many thanks for that. I have since hunted down the schematics. I was referencing the 455 schematics

Re: Help with 465M blowing mains fuse
Thanks PDX. Yeah.....I suspected as much when seeing other scopes that looked nice and sharp. As mentioned above, I'll try pulling fuses to isolate power supply, open the secondaries up from the board
