Re: help needed for tektronix 2467b.
The 2467B will go into a screen saver mode after about 5 minutes of inactivity (eg. no knob motion). It also will move the display readout positions every so often to prevent burn-in. The counters for

Re: help needed for tektronix 2467b.
The 2467B and 7104 most assuredly do *not* have the same CRT! There is a good 6 inches of difference. They both have a micro channel plate (MCP) image intensifier, but they are not the same CRT. By

Re: Tek 284 Pulse Generator advice
I believe that the last list price for that TD from Tek was $800. And that was decades ago. The only other place that diode is used, is in the 7T11 sampling timebase. So yes - read the manual.

If you haven't tried the EEV Blog Forum, you can post there too. There are some threads about the 2467B on that forum too. Best regards and wishes. Roy

Re: help needed for tektronix 2467b.
Hi All: I remember something about an limiter circuit to limit the anode current, when driving the CRT hard (displaying a bright trace). That circuit was supposed to keep the maximum brightness to a

Re: Tek 284 Pulse Generator advice
Download and read the service manual before you do anything. You didn't say what you paid for it, but if it wasn't expensive, it's probably broke. A DVM on the output probably won't hurt it if you

Re: help needed for tektronix 2467b.
Not in Califonia, but be aware that the MCP (microchannel CRT) in the 2467B has some things to think about. 1) while the bandwidth and brightness are very good, the MCP mechanism has a limited time

Re: Searching for a Tek 7000 series scope
Mine is a model 3, with a bay for a TM504 below it. It's proudly labeled "NASA property". I don't plan on removing the sticker. It does fit the 7000 series and has the clamp for the feet. Harvey

Re: Searching for a Tek 7000 series scope
Something I just wanted to point out-? The cart doesn't need to be designed for the 7K series; I have one of my 7704As on a K212 scopemobile, which I think was designed for the 24xx series.? It

It's under Time & Date sub menu in the utility menu at the top of the menu. My personal guess is it ran for 4+ years 24 x 7 and was then replaced by a newer instrument in a mission critical
