Re: San Diego 7934 and goodies
Rob
Why do these deals always come around someplace far far away from Louisiana.

If I knew someone in San Diego I might even consider having it shipped here. Shipping would likely cost more than the asking price for the bundle.... sigh... At least I can hope a member of this forum lives close and gets it Rob -----Original Message-----

prudent plug-ins to boot.. As I re-read the title and my post; some of my responses may be a bit cryptic to someone very new. Bama is here: Tek-wiki is here: and Dave is here: Again, you did a great deal. Rob -----Original Message-----

thx for the tip! i will check this as soon as possible (couple days out of town). i check tp444 before with ext. trigger and that was very small compared to the input signal. don't know the exact amplitude but much lower. probably back on saturday. tjeenz. --- In TekScopes@..., David <davidwhess@...> wrote:

You put in two vert amps and 2 time bases and the time bases can be set to different triggering and speeds. Literally 2 in one, and with a trace separation horiz. adjust on the displayed signal after triggering for comparing. Very useful. -- Ecosensory |

You got a great deal. I am partial to 7844 for whatever reason. The R and

the none R version share the same manual. It and the manuals for the plug-ins you got are on Bama or TEK-wiki. (just Google "Tektronix 7844 pdf" , etc. If you are partial as I am to printing portions of the manual. I highly recommend getting Dave's CD's. Much higher quality and better suited for printing 11*17 as I like to do. Good bang for the buck. Some call the 7844 complex in operating. However, if you envision each trace (they lay out top to bottom on the 7844 controls) as a separate oscilloscope 90% of what you will do will be extremely straight forward and intuitive. Congratulations... Rob -----Original Message-----

Subject: [TekScopes] New to group - Just acquired a R7844 Hi All: I just found a working R7844 with 7A26, 7A24, and two 7B85 plugins. I was in a pawn shop and saw it on a shelf in the back room. I asked the owner and he said it had been sitting there for 5 years and he did not know what it was. He brought it down and I powered it up. Nice bright traces and ran a wire to calibrator output and all channels worked. The best news is he wanted it off his shelf and asked me for an offer. Just for laughs I offered him $40.00 and he couldn't say yes quick enough. (guess I should have offered $20.00). I have used scopes my whole life but not one like this. Am still trying to learn how to use it as I have no users manual. Was able to use it this weekend to troubleshoot my Ham radio PLL with a 60 Mhz output that my old scope could hardly see. What a great piece of test gear! ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Links |

Does a vertical amp anything useful together with a 7D20 in a 4-bay mainframe?

Not that the 7D20 in a 7934 makes all that much sense to start with..... Looks like a bit of a mix, but should be a good deal if you can use only some of the items. I really wonder if the curve tracer those fixtures go with is anywhere nearby. The current probe(s) would also be interesting. ST On Wed, Sep 19, 2012 at 8:09 PM, sipespresso <sipespresso@...> wrote:

Tek2205 CRT replacement?
I've got a Tek2205 which has been dropped and abused by the previous owner (I believe it's from a lab and the workers there did it to the scope when the lab was closing down). However the inside of the scope is almost new and very clean, everything works fine except the traces become distorted.
see video: After I opened it up I have found this: What a shame! My question is that what Tek (or other brand) CRT can be used to replace the broken one? If repairing it is not economically viable I will offer it to people need parts to repair their Tek2205. Thanks in advance |

Hello Brad,Hello, Gerhard-- Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Tektronix C1001 camera. Shipment via USPS international Priority mail, in a medium-size flat-rate carton will cost $47.95, to which I would add $3.00 to cover the PayPal fee and minor shipping expenses. I haven't had an opportunity to photograph the camera and may attempt to use a flat-bed optical scanner if it produces a decent image. Let me know if you're no longer interested, and thank you. 73-- Brad AA1IP |

AFG2020 Parts Help (ComLinear)
开云体育Hello All: ? I am trying to repair CH1 on an AFG2020 I acquired some time ago. I have isolated the problem to a ComLinear CLC561AI amplifier located on the A42 output board. I cannot seem to find this part anywhere online.? I wonder if someone may have one of these they would be willing to part with. If not, I would also consider taking a complete A42 Board with the hope this IC works. ? Any help on a source would be much appreciated! ? Thanks ? Rich, AJ3G |
