Let me try to find it!
Ah, found, here you have:

Re: TroubleShooting Some TM500 gear.
Alexandre,
I would be interested in having a copy of that schematic. Would it be possible to post a copy?
Cheers,

Hi there Dave! I believe you CANNOT PLUG ANYTING into a TM-50x mainframe before checking it. BTW, I think I can create a small tool that you plug in each slot and tests everything (transistors,

Re: Shipping (non Tek)
I may be miss-understanding something but flat rate allows 70lbs so minimize
the volume and put it in the smallest USPS flat rate box that it will fit
in. If it won't fit in a large flat rate then

Re: Shipping (non Tek)
If you could possibly divide it into 2 pieces, both under 20 pounds,
the cheapest way would be 2 USPS flat rate boxes.
Otherwise plain USPS.

Shipping (non Tek)
Hello group
What is the cheapest way to ship a 35 pound block of steel (not literally
but just to convey density and robustness) from CA to the Chek Republic)?

7K extenders
It sure looks like it is. Does anyone with an original Tek 7K extender
confirm that the wires in the custom ribbon cable were 24 gauge except for
the coaxes?
Thanks,
John

Re: Now: 50 Ohm attenuator Re: What use for a 640 Ohm 1x Probe?
Well for 100 W into 50 Ohms you will have 70.7V rms or 100 V peak.? If the 'scope can handle that, you don't need an attenuator.? If it can't, you can cobble an attenuator from a pair of resistors

Re: 7L13 'Center Frequency' display issue
Also make sure that the 2 boards, A2100 DVM analog board and A2000, DVM
logic & readout board are only connected/touching where they should.
There needs to be a small space (say 1mm or less) between

Now: 50 Ohm attenuator Re: What use for a 640 Ohm 1x Probe?
You don't want the scope attenuator to be the dummy load. You can make a simple pick-off tee with the main signal going straight through, with a high resistance tapped off, feeding a termination

About ten years ago I built a dummy?load out of some huge 850 ohm?power
resistors I?picked up at a hamfest. I?mounted a pair of heavy copper wires like
a pair of rails?and then soldered the

That is because most sellers think they are just wires and are scrapped.

I know what you mean. Those tiny connectors are a PITA. When I first got a 7D01, I searched a lot for the probes, and considered even hard wiring some kind of cables into the front-end to go to
