I have a 2465BDV I'm using as a bench scope and I recently picked up an unused P6137 probe which I started to use. The scope seems to work perfectly, everything as it should be so far as I can tell, except for one very strange thing:
When I use the P6137 it operates as it should, signals look great.
If I push the probe "ident" button (on the second push) the scope seems to do some sort of partial reset, I lose traces, sweep speed goes to a seemingly random faster setting, trig source changes, channel scales change, I lose the DMM reading and it reads out the trig level on the top line.
This is repeatable, and as I said everything else seems fine.
What the heck??
