It is possible they designed it to use either chip. The 6808 is a
6802 without the 128 bytes of onboard RAM from address $0000 to $007F.
The 6802 is a 6800 with an on-chip oscillator and 128 bytes of RAM.
Just to clarify this, the 6802 and 6808 are the same die, it was just
that the RAM wasn't guaranteed to work on the 6808. It wasn't
disabled.
