An old-timer once told me to take such a tube that was hard to read its' identification, ...to take the tube and rub it up and down on the back of the nape of your neck.?? The resulting static electricity would help bring out the long-gone lettering, ....??where it once was.

Seems I have tried it over the years, and it does work.

Anyone else ever heard of this trick?, ...or is it just more urban legend?
