Re: Cross Reference on a transistor

My secret Tektronix notes and the 7A13 service manual show a dual 6
pin TO-78 NPN transistor with a cross to A485.

Ft 1.2GHz
hfe 25 min
Vceo 15V
Vcbo 30V
Ic 50mA

A pair of 2N2857 transistors should work.

The LS3250 from Linear Systems is slower but might be an acceptible
substitute:

I looked at those on Mouser. The image and the datasheet only show 4
legs on the transistor, housed in a TO-72 case. The one in my 7A13 has
6 legs. The datasheet does show a 6-legged version in the TO-71 case,
but the part number differs in that its CEN741. Does that look like the
right one?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Central Semi and Microsemi both make crosses as well, Mouser has the Central Semi's in stock.

Mark,

I have 2 NOS 267s. If you can not find a source I can sell you one for $10 plus postage.

Gerhard,

Yes, bloody fat fingers caused me to create a typo. You are correct on
the part number of 0267. Thanks for the cross-reference!

The Q320 has the tek-nummber 151-267-00. This is the 2N2857 NPN, DUAL

Futzing around with a 7A13 plugin I have, and may have to replace a
transistor, Q320. Tektronix part number is 151-0268-00. There's a
Motorola logo on the top of the can. Anybody know if this transistor is
currently available or what a suitable sub would be?
