I have a TM5003, with a very noisy fan, whose sole job is to house three
AM503 current probe amplifiers, and they all work absolutely fine. They're
definitely not the A or B version, just very basic (and very fixable)
analogue ones. So I assert that there's no problem with the AM503 in TM5000
mainframes.
