Barry: Defective HV/CRT replacement/reason to adjust, its rarely needed.
The hi meg HV feedback R in the HV section often drift high.
Easier to check all the megohm feedback R in HV sec. than the -2950V.
Other HV fails are the transformer and mult, bot cause flicker and failure that is total.
