I am looking for a good reference on how to actually use the storage
capabilities (bistable/variable/fast, how to set up triggering to be
productive, etc) - for two reasons:
1. So I can usefully use the capability
2. So I can determine if it is operating as it should, and whether it
needs adjustment/repair
Tek's Concept Series are a good way to go.
Since you've got a 7633, use its Operator's Manual, which is available for free online. It contains some pretty good introductory information on what you're looking for. It tells you how the functions/modes work and how to control and use them.
Mind you, I'm talking about the *Operator's Manual* (070-1766-00), *not* the Operating/Service Manual. Google it.
