I've taken a low quality video of the screen as I use the test routine to step through the values.
If the EAROM? ever fails, I'll dig out the video and transcribe the values. I would look at seeing whether a simple modern MCU with EEROM can bit-bang its i/o fast enough; that should be easy to program. If not, I would figure out something else. I'd ignore the 5V-42V(?) level translators, and connect directly to the TTL levels.
