Evening folks, I've got a 5440 on the bench equipped with a 5B42 and a pair of 5A48 modules. I soon discovered that the pair of 5A48 modules is a different flavor from the common manuals circulating on the Internet. The serial numbers on the modules are nearly consecutive and both modules are well over B100000, all the service manuals I've found so far are part number 070-1450-00, Rev B, 1974. I don't have the part number for the correct manual and I'm wondering if anyone knows what the correct manual part number is for the later serial numbers, and further, would they have a .pdf of it. <Grin>
So far. the 5440 has been brought back to life and the 5B42 module is back up also, sans many Ta caps. The 5A48 still needs attention but my unit is substantially different than the module featured in the 070-1450-00 manual. Any help would be appreciated~!~!~
