I also use the 492P on 50 ohm impedances or connected to my tracking generator TR503 (with the DC503A counter inserted in a TM502).
I wanted to do some tests on higher impedances using the P6201 active probe as an adapter in order not to overload the circuit under test.
If it really goes wrong I have a complete replacement first mixer for my 492P, but I really hope there is no need.
