I recently rescued a 535A from the scrap heap and/or (audio) tube thieves. I needed t as a parts donor for my 575 and have no intention of restoring the 535A, myself. It served as a mouse hotel (from the looks of it - for many years); but many parts are clean and, I am sure, others can be cleaned up. The high voltage supply may be toast, however; the mice used it as a penthouse and the leads of at least one rectifier are corroded off. I will be reserving any remaining good rectifiers as 575 spares. The fan motor is already a 575 spare; but the fan, itself, is not. I will be keeping all electrolytic capacitors which are 575 compatible and any 575 compatible tubes. I don't think the CRT has burn marks (I'll check if you're interested and also check the filament for continuity). Other than that, I am offering remaining parts at whatever nominal cost you suggest plus shipping from eastern Pennsylvania. Eventually (in a half year or so), remaining good parts will probably end up on ePay.
If anyone wants the entire instrument (minus the parts I am keeping for the 575) for restoration, it can be had but I will not ship it; you would have to pick it up.
