Hi Joe,
Take a look at the last few pages of your manual. It has
updated power supply details there.
If your copy doesn't include these pages look for the
manual on w140.com.
Regarding the focus issue, check that both the A and B
cables (single wires) are connected at both ends. One
end is in the HV compartment, the other on the Z axis
board. They're easily dislodged.
If they're sound, I guess it might be the focus DC restorer
at fault: that definitely did change in later versions.
