Well... and from a multi-year reading of posts on groups.io, EEVblog, et. al. ... I reckon the above situation is significantly because some buyers have p'd off vendors (both the clueless and clued) by imbibing in seemingly self-congratulatory bliss for having 'scored' these items for very 'little'... so much so... that now ... even a cardboard cutout of an SD-24 goes for more than they were previously paying for them.
