My wife has suggested that I photograph & do a data listing of important or rarer items with some history etc as appropriate.

Recently I started using a Password manager that has a neat "Legacy" feature for allowing you to set up passwords that you wish to allow someone to access if you are invalid or dead. The person / people that you wish to allow legacy access get a link. If they use that link then your email accounts get a message that someone wishes access. If you are OK then you just deny access. Otherwise access is granted after a time period that you set. Access can be only some passwords or the whole lot.? You chose which passwords any individual can access. The Legacy feature can be set up for your executor or for someone to access your contacts list for your funeral etc. In the past there have been cases of quite famous people like authors that no one could contact members of their mailing lists & social media groups because no one could access the contacts. My father was an executor for a young person that had a car accident & was comatose for a long time. The person had a huge amount of money in online shares & no one could access them. Even with the court orders, the online share sites would not reveal all the shares, they would only confirm any shares that were listed for them, not reveal what others were being held. It took someone to break into the laptop to finally get all the shares. You don't want that type of hassle. Regards, Brian. On 21-November-2021 10:41 am, Ken Eckert wrote:
