Thank you both for the quick responses. The Tek 922 is such a nice instrument, I hate to part it out.
Not exactly sure how to inject a square wave pulse into the primary winding ¡ª I assume a cap such a 1 uF would be used between the function generator and the primary winding? I assume all other components such as the switching transistor should be disconnected from the primary winding? The switching transistor, a TIP50, tests OK on the transistor tester.
