You don't show your setup, so it's hard to say, but I'm guessing it's something simple.
Make sure that you are using coax.
Make sure that you are in 50 ohm mode.
Make sure that the BW limit is not engaged.

Hi guys,
I was checking my 485 against calibration 1kHz and 1MHz signals.
- 1kHz is nicely displayed by the scope.
- 1Mhz is not giving me a "perfect" square wave.
I hooked up my cheap FY32124S function generator with a 1MHz / 5v square waves and compared the corresponding displays by the 485 :
/g/TekScopes/photo/261153/0?p=Created,,,20,2,0,0 is the result from the function generator
/g/TekScopes/photo/261153/1?p=Created,,,20,2,0,0 is the 1MHz calibration from the 485
Is this normal ?
I cross checked with a digital test scope and got the same results measuring 4.98 V p2p, and 999 Hz / 1.002MHz.
