Sorry to hear that U760 may be dead. The good news is that 2235's are common as dirt. You should be able to get a replacement fairly inexpensively, even if that replacement comes surrounded by an entire scope.
I see that QService Eelectronics has the complete A4 sweep board for sale, which won't take nearly as much space as a full parts mule.
