Tried to do what you ask me. I uploaded the pictures of :
- Sine wave + A-Gate in chop mode :
- A-Gate + A-Sweep on the 485 :
- A-Gate + A-Sweep on an Hameg 304 : (ch1:A gate 1V/div, Ch2 : A-sweep : 5V/div)

Comparing last 2 images, it seems to me that A-sweep and A-Gate signals are ok on the 485

But if you have some screen shots to compare, it could help.
