Chuck: UGH! I understand your frustration. This is the best setting of GEOM = full CCW? The 4 I have are either 100% or just slightly off grid. Only the 2467B is noticable.
Tip on scope photo distortion: The closer you get and the wider the lens, the more distortion, normally barrel, 1-4%.
You can minimize by zooming in 2..4X and thus use equiv of telephoto rather than wide angle.
