I I think what I need next is a Known good 156-0282-00 or 01 to replace the
known bad U180. Then I can continue testing for other flaws. This OR/NOR
GATE is long obsolete, so anyone out there that has one and who would part
with it, please feel free to let me know. I also was thinking that I could
replace this one IC with a pair of more modern OR/NOR GATES on a small plug
in hybrid board. Does anyone have experience with building such a "hybrid"?
I have no technical experience with logic IC's, it is all "greek" to me at
this stage. I am not afraid to build things and to learn. The one thing
that I do not want to do is to cause more damage by doing the wrong thing.

According to TEKTRONIX Literature, these are the parts that will "Drop in"
MC1660L MOTOROLA
156-0282-00
156-0282-01
SP1660B PLESSEY

Thanks To all.
