Hi Nielsen,
It is sort of a poorman's differential plugin.
1) It works OK at low to medium frequencies as long as both probes have been adjusted for their proper and identical risetime.
2) It works fine as long as either of your signals doesn't go off screen. When one of them is off screen their voltage is clamped and if it is added to the other one you will get an incorrect addition.
