I was talking to a friend yesterday, who is originally from Vietnam.
He recounted the story of how he was drafted to work for the communists in
some research project or other in the 60's.
Among the equipment he was given to work with was a russian copy of a Tek
5-series scope. He said it had the Tek "style" and the layout was the same,
only the colours were a little different and the labels were all in russian.
Also, he remembered the knobs were larger and more roughly-made than a Tek.
Anyone else heard of this?
