My view of old gear is that if it¡¯s reasonably cosmetically sound and not missing parts, and isn¡¯t needed for parts to fix an equivalent model in better overall condition, then it¡¯s always worth saving.
If triggering is failing due to a bad tunnel diode (which it may or may not be), you might be able to substitute an available tunnel diode for the unobtainium original. See <>
