Re: Tek 335 Rear Feet

One way to do this "right" is to machine a mold and then cast them with
an appropriate hard urethane rubber.

I don't know what the profile looks like, but I have machined simple
ones for a 454 out of black delrin, which worked fairly nicely.

Someone was 3d printing 465 feet and those turned out pretty nice.

I have an otherwise flawless Tektronix 335 except.... the rear feet were made of some kind of self-destructing rubber. Amazing -- these feet turn into a rock hard material that is so brittle that they break and crumble into nothing. From internet image searching, the problem is universal. Does anyone have any ideas about a good way to replace these feet? I have thought of many less than elegant ways of doing it, but so far nothing really "right".
