Been using Linux here at work on my workstation and laptop for a good number of years now. I'm the Unix/Linux sysadmin here at work, and have a distinct dislike for Windows products. The only machine I have running Windows anymore is the desktop at home, and the only reason it still has Windows on it is because of some software I use that won't run on anything else, even under Wine. I'm not a big fan of VirtualBox, because it still requires you to load the Windows OS to run Windows programs. Wine works well for about 95% of all Windows software.
