You found a Linux link for that software? All I saw was "Windows".

Bob,

Very surprised no one has mentioned the obvious to you. You want
inexpensive, for hobby? Why not use your soundcard? I use mine, but I
wrote a tremendous amount of code to make it happen, so I can
determine LCR numbers from 10Hz to 90kHz and therefore do a bit of
curve fitting to determine more complex models. Unless you want to
spend a lot of time learning about how to drive your soundcard, get
the data, interpret the data, make pretty displays, etc etc, I highly
recommend trying this

Bob Masta just released his LCR Meter vrsion:

DAQARTA v7.50
Data AcQuisition And Real-Time Analysis
www.daqarta.com
Scope, Spectrum, Spectrogram, Sound Level Meter
Frequency Counter, Pitch Track, Pitch-to-MIDI
FREE Signal Generator, DaqMusiq generator
Science with your sound card!

You probably already have a soundcard, so all you need to do is
download the small program which installs pretty non-intrusively,
Plus, the 'price' is excellent! I believe you can try the total
program for free and even if you don't buy it, the function generator
part will still work for you. Not many function generators are capable
of producing this clean a signal, too!

From memory, [hope I'm not wrong] once you buy, Bob Masta provides
ALL future enhancements/improvements for life. Every new version is
yours too. Pretty gutsy marketing.

Robert
