I found a TM506 (with a DM 502A) going for cheap - and with reasonable shipping - on eBay, so I got one of those. Given the glowing recommendations they've seen here for use-in-anger, I figure it should work fine for gentle usage in my home lab.

my TDS784D is too wide to fit on top of the TM504 that's been hosting my growing collection of 500-class plugins. I figure a TM506 would be just about the right width, and it'd be handy to host the plugins underneath the scope - it'd save a fair amount of space on my workbench.
I noticed however that there are also a TM506A as well as TM5006 - what are the differences between these all?
