I don't doubt that it would be strong enough but it needs to go over to the right and then bend down so that the pax can use it similar to a stick coming out of the floor.? ?Just sticking the dowel

Keith, thanks for the compliment, that little gray box is my carb ice detector, back when I was learning to fly I had a carb ice issue that almost got me killed and have always been fearful of carb
