oil cooler clearance
If I mounted the oil cooler on the pilot's side (behind Cyl# 4) how much clearance do I need between the oil cooler and the engine mount? I realize I will need to cut the cooler flange but not sure

I also converted an old cougar, however I opted to change to wittmans gear leg reciever as part of the engine mount, the spring steel landing gear are well designed. I basically re built the tail end

The Cougar plans call for plywood wing covering from leading edge to rear spar. Fabric covering aft of rear spar. I think most ran the plywood all the way to the trailing edge. A few used fiberglass
