Keith, I just thought of a 4 th way. Take a piece of 1"x0.058 tubing about 2 inches long. Slide one end about an inch over the end of the removable control stick and weld it in place. The open end

Thanks everyone for the ideas.? I still have the problem of no lathe so machining is out.? I found a piece of 5/8 tube and i think i am going to do what Bill suggested in his #2 idea.? ? I think

Keith-Get a piece of 3/4 x .065 and machine it toa snug fit inside the 3/4 .035. Rosette weld it into the stick extension and drill for the AN3 bolt.

Bill, Thanks for your ideas.? I think #2 might be the best option.? That way I don't need to do any welding on the part that is on the existing stick in the airplane.? I could make that up at home
