Had my fuselage open to work on the ELT and took this picture that might help understand how I mounted my ELT.? The "alert cartridge" with the beeper in it is mounted on my gas tank under the panel and of course the test switch/activation switch unit is mounted in the panel.? ?I had some interesting learnings today about the ELT battery which I will post on a separate thread.? Please read it if you have an ACK 406 ELT
