Whether the zinc prop nut wastes away quickly or not it protects the prop.?

Hi , thx for reply , however, only semantics , but a zinc nut would waste away promptly . The s/s prop nut not only holds the prop on , but also holds the bracket to which the prop nut zinc anode is attached.????????? Ron? S/V Hygelig
