Hi Bob, We sail on Lake Michigan. If you can avoid cutting up the hulls do! A few years ago a member of my club used a SawsAll to cut up a derelict Sunfish hull. He said he would never do that again.

What is plastic trim? Is this something new for the edges ,rather than aluminum? If you mean the splash coming , I used a strip of 3 M 5200 and also rivets. Did this because some of the holes were

I made my tiller the standard length but with a 16 inch pivoting extension. Works fine for me, as a non competitive sailor that likes to go fast when I can. I have Ken’s book and recommend it
