also familiar with water skiing and righting
jet-ski/wave runner type watercraft. It's getting
that seemingly HUGE sail out of the water that has
me scared I guess. I understand that capsizing
is part of the sport and it won't deter me from
learning and enjoying sailing.
As long as the main sheet isn't cleated the sail just
empties itself out and fall vertical as the mast comes
up.
Have the mainsheet cleated and the sail roach will
hold about 20 gallons of water. Not that won't come up.
